Dual Brownlow Medallist Peter Moore who played 249 games with Collingwood and Melbourne and captained the Magpies and

“All footballers need a lot of help if they are to develop their skills. The 500 Supporters’ Group is helping provide basic health and education facilities, which we take for granted, for kids and adults in the poorest regions of Africa.

I encourage any person who can assist with this work to get behind The 500 Supporters’ Group.”
— Kevin Sheedy

The 500 Supporters' Group host two sporting events per year to raise awareness for the Ruben Centre.
